An independent study platform built from real coaching experience — made to help people pass the language tests that stand between them and a new life in Canada.

Why this exists

Language-test preparation is expensive. A single coaching course can cost more than the exam itself, and the tools that give instant, honest feedback usually sit behind a paywall. TestDayTwin exists to close that gap: realistic, full-length practice for the major English and French exams, with instant scoring, free to use.

The material is drawn from years of hands-on coaching — watching where learners actually lose marks, which question types trip people up, and how the real computer-based tests feel on exam day. That experience shapes every practice set, timer, and piece of feedback here.

What you can practise

We cover the tests most relevant to Canadian immigration and study, plus the major global English exams:

• IELTS — Academic & General Training, including full timed mock tests.
• PTE, TOEFL, CELPIP, and the Duolingo English Test — task-by-task practice.
• TEF Canada and TCF Canada — the French exams accepted by IRCC, in their real section formats.

Each test mirrors the real exam's structure: the same sections, the same timing, listening audio that plays once like the real thing, and an estimated band or level the moment you finish.

Original material only

Every question, passage, and prompt on TestDayTwin is original practice material, written to match the format and difficulty of each exam. We never reproduce real exam questions. This protects you — using leaked or memorised real items can get a candidate's results cancelled — and it keeps the platform on the right side of copyright.

How scoring works

Reading and listening are scored instantly against answer keys. Writing and speaking receive an estimated score with specific, criterion-by-criterion feedback. These are practice estimates to guide your study — not official predictions, and never a substitute for sitting the real exam.

Independent and honest

TestDayTwin is run by an independent sole proprietor in Canada. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any exam board. It is supported by advertising so that the practice itself can stay free.
