Subject: Ravi's Visit in August Hi Priya, I hope you and the kids are doing well! I'm writing because I just got off the phone with our cousin Ravi, and I'm excited (and a little nervous) to tell you he's finally confirmed his trip to Canada. He'll be flying in from Mumbai on August 14th and staying with us in Mississauga for three weeks. This will be Ravi's first time leaving India, so I want to make sure everything goes smoothly. He mentioned he's most looking forward to seeing Niagara Falls, since he's watched so many videos of it online. I already checked bus schedules, and there's a coach that leaves from downtown Toronto every morning, so I think we'll do that as a day trip during his second week, once he's recovered from the jet lag. He also asked if we could visit a proper Canadian farmers' market, since back home he mostly shops at the corner store near his flat. I told him the Milton Farmers' Market on Saturdays would be perfect, especially since it's still summer and the corn and peaches should be at their best. One thing I need your help with, though: Ravi is bringing gifts for everyone, including saris for you and the girls, and he asked whether he needs to declare them at the airport. I honestly wasn't sure, so I told him I'd ask you, since you dealt with customs forms when you came over five years ago. Could you send me whatever information you remember, or a link to the government page? I'd rather he know before he lands than get stopped and confused. Also, would you and the family like to join us for a big dinner the weekend after he arrives? Nothing fancy, just home-cooked food and a chance for everyone to catch up with him. Let me know soon!
