TEXT A — Riverbend Autumn Fair — Welcome Notice
The Riverbend Autumn Fair returns to Miller's Common on Saturday 11 October, running from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Entry to the grounds is free, though a small charge applies to certain marquees and rides, listed at the main gate.
Please note that the car park behind the leisure centre fills quickly. Residents are strongly encouraged to arrive on foot or by the shuttle bus, which departs every twenty minutes from Baxter Street between 9.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. A single fare costs 80p; children under five travel without charge.
Dogs on leads are welcome across the open lawns but may not enter the food hall or the children's craft tent. A lost-property desk operates beside the first-aid point near the bandstand.
Volunteers in yellow tabards can direct you to accessible toilets and the quiet room, which is available for anyone needing a calmer space away from the crowds. Should the weather turn, most stalls will move under cover into the sports hall, and any changes to the outdoor programme will be announced over the public-address system.
We ask that all litter be placed in the clearly marked recycling bins.

TEXT B — Stallholders and Performers — Booking Information
Local groups wishing to run a stall at this year's fair should complete the online form by Friday 26 September. A standard pitch measures three metres by three metres and costs 15 pounds; charity and school groups pay half that rate. Electricity is not supplied to the lawn pitches, so traders needing power must request a space inside the sports hall, where sockets are limited and allocated in order of booking.
Anyone selling hot food must hold a current hygiene certificate and bring their own fire blanket. Certificates will be checked on the morning of the event, and any trader unable to show one will not be permitted to open.
The main stage welcomes musicians, dancers and community choirs. Acts are asked to keep each slot to fifteen minutes and to supply their own instruments; a basic sound system with two microphones is provided. If you require a longer rehearsal, contact the organisers before the closing date rather than on the day.
Please remember that generators, glass containers and open flames other than approved cooking equipment are banned from the whole site. Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email with their pitch number and an arrival time by 3 October.
