TEXT A — Bramley Green Autumn Street Festival — Notice to Residents Saturday 19 September, 10.00 am – 6.00 pm The annual street festival returns to Bramley Green for its twelfth year. To allow stalls and a performance stage to be set up safely, Orchard Road and Mill Lane will be closed to traffic from 6.00 am until 8.00 pm on the day of the festival. Residents of these streets who need to move a vehicle during this period should contact the organisers before 12 September to arrange an escort through the barriers. Buses on route 47 will be diverted along Station Approach for the whole day, and a temporary stop will operate outside the library. Household waste collections will not be affected. However, bins on Orchard Road must be brought inside front gardens by Friday evening; any bins left on the pavement will be removed by the council and returned on Monday. Free parking is available at Bramley Green Primary School, a five-minute walk from the festival entrance. Blue Badge holders may use the reserved spaces in the community centre car park on Weaver Street. For any questions, call the festival office on 01632 960117 (weekdays, 9.00 am – 4.00 pm). ———————————— TEXT B — Calling All Stallholders! Would you like to sell your crafts, produce or street food at this year's Bramley Green Autumn Street Festival? Pitches (3 m × 3 m) cost £35 for craft and produce sellers and £60 for hot-food traders. A table and two chairs are included; gazebos may be hired for an extra £15, or you may bring your own. Electricity is available only in Zone C and must be requested on the application form — a limited number of sockets are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications close on Friday 4 September. Hot-food traders must attach a copy of a current food hygiene certificate and proof of public liability insurance; applications without these documents cannot be considered. Craft sellers do not need insurance, though it is recommended. New this year: a Young Traders zone for sellers aged 12–18, with pitches at half price and a mentoring session with local business owners on the morning of the festival. Successful applicants will be notified by email within ten days and must pay in full within one week of notification to keep their pitch. Apply online at www.bramleygreenfest.org.uk or pick up a paper form from Green's Bakery on the High Street. ———————————— TEXT C — Festival Day: What's On and Where Main Stage (Orchard Road) 10.30 Opening parade arrives, led by the Bramley Brass Band 12.00 Junior dance schools showcase 2.00 The Riverside Ceilidh Band — audience dancing welcome! 4.30 Prize draw (winners must be present to claim) 5.15 Closing set from local rock group The Fenwick Brothers Around the festival The farmers' market runs all day in Zone A.
