Starting this Monday, the number 12 bus will be taking a —detourdirectexpressscenic route because of road construction near the old bridge. Riders heading downtown should expect the trip to take about ten minutes —longershortercheaperearlier than usual, and two stops near the construction zone will be temporarily closed. The transit website posted a map showing the —alternateoriginalfinalempty stops where passengers can board instead. I usually catch the bus right outside my apartment, so I'll need to walk a bit further to reach the new stop until the —constructiondetourannouncementmap is finished sometime next month. Announcements will also play on the bus to remind riders of the change.
