NOTICE TO ALL FLOOR STAFF: Effective this month, all shift swap requests must be submitted through the online scheduling portal at least 48 hours before the shift begins. Swaps involving overtime pay must be approved by a manager, not just the two employees involved. If a swap is not confirmed in the portal, the original schedule stands, and staff who fail to show up for their originally assigned shift may face disciplinary action, even if they believed a coworker had taken over. Staff are encouraged to plan ahead, since last-minute swap requests submitted less than 48 hours out will usually be denied.
