Riverside Food Truck Festival — Volunteer Update Thanks to everyone who signed up to help at this year's festival on August 15–16. We now have 42 confirmed volunteers, which covers most shifts, but we still need four more people for the Saturday evening cleanup crew from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Volunteers get a free meal voucher redeemable at any of the 18 participating trucks, a festival T-shirt, and priority parking near the volunteer tent. Each shift is three hours long, and you can choose from ticket booth duty, recycling and waste sorting, directing traffic in the parking lot, or helping the info booth answer visitor questions. New volunteers should arrive 30 minutes early on their first shift to get a badge and a quick orientation from a team lead. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle, since it's expected to be warm both days. If your plans change and you can no longer make your shift, let us know at least 48 hours ahead so we can find a replacement — last-minute cancellations make it hard on the rest of the crew.
