After eleven years with our department, Daniel is moving on to a new opportunity outside the company, and his last day will be this Friday. Many of you have worked alongside him on countless projects, and he's known for always making time to help newer staff learn the ropes, often staying late to walk someone through a tricky spreadsheet or client issue without ever making them feel rushed. We're passing around a farewell card for anyone who would like to add a message, along with a small gift the team has chipped in for. The card is sitting on the reception desk near the mailboxes, so please stop by sometime this week to sign it and leave a note if you'd like. Try to keep your message brief so everyone has room to write something, and feel free to include a favourite memory or a bit of encouragement for his next chapter. We're also planning a short gathering in the break room on Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. with cake and coffee, so anyone free at that time is welcome to drop by and say goodbye in person. Please have your card messages finished by Wednesday evening so we have time to wrap everything before Thursday's gathering.
